Operate live remote audio for LiveControl customers. You'll be at home riding a soundboard remotely during events that matter to our customers — worship services, memorials, concerts, theater performances and more. Learn more about us a www.livecontrol.io
The mix is built and dialed in by our team before the event. Your job is to keep it sounding right while it's live: muting channels at the right moments, riding faders as the action moves, and adjusting FX returns when needed. We want a real audio engineer's ear and judgment, even though the operational scope is tight.
What you'll do
- Mute and unmute channels at the right moments (open mics, hot lavs, switching speakers)
- Ride fader levels to keep vocals, instruments, and speakers balanced as the event unfolds
- Navigate between input banks and aux/FX returns as needed during the event
- Adjust FX return levels (reverb, delay) to fit the room and moment
- Flag any issues for the operations/support team
- Show up reliably for scheduled shifts, especially Sunday mornings
What we're looking for
- 2+ years as audio engineer — live sound, broadcast, or studio mixing
- Strong ear for live mix balance, vocal intelligibility, and dynamics
- Composure under live pressure — events don't pause for you to fix something
- Reliable wired internet (50+ Mbps up, low latency) and a quiet, treated workspace
- Quality monitoring (closed-back headphones)
- Weekend availability (Sundays especially) and event-driven scheduling
Bonus points
- Digital console familiarity (Allen & Heath dLive/Avantis, Yamaha CL/QL, Behringer X32/M32, DiGiCo, Midas)
- Prior remote mixing experience (Audiomovers, Source-Connect, Dante Via, console remote apps)
- Broadcast or houses-of-worship audio background
