## Key Responsibilities

• **Online Psychotherapy:** Provide individual, couples, or family therapy and counseling services to clients via secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing (aligned with your license scope and clinical expertise).

• **Clinical Assessment & Documentation:** Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments and maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records in accordance with HIPAA, state regulations, and professional standards.

• **Ethical & Legal Compliance:** Uphold the highest standards of ethical practice as outlined in the NASW Code of Ethics, along with all applicable state licensing board regulations and federal laws (including HIPAA).

• **Client Engagement:** Manage client communications effectively, including scheduling, responding to inquiries, and clearly outlining your therapeutic approach, fees, and practice policies.

• **Direct Fee Management:** Determine your own session rates and manage billing and payment processes directly with your clients.

## Requirements

• **Education:** Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program.

• **Licensure:** Must possess a current, active, and unrestricted clinical license to practice social work independently (e.g., LCSW, LICSW, LISW-CP) in at least one US state. You are responsible for understanding and adhering to all telehealth laws and regulations for any state in which you provide services.

• **Experience:** Proven post-licensure experience providing clinical assessment, diagnosis (as appropriate within scope), and psychotherapy to diverse populations.

• **Telehealth Proficiency:** Competency in using HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms for secure video sessions. Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Practice Management software is strongly preferred.

• **Ethical & Regulatory Knowledge:** Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA, state-specific laws governing clinical social work practice and telehealth, and the NASW Code of Ethics.

• **Professional Liability Insurance:** Must maintain active professional liability (malpractice) insurance coverage.

• **Skills:**
