About the Role
We are hiring a Legal Counsel to own the commercial and contract workflows that support revenue growth, customer onboarding, and operational compliance.
This role sits at the intersection of sales operations, legal operations, contract management, and compliance. You will manage the full contract lifecycle, support commercial negotiations, coordinate due diligence processes, and ensure agreements move efficiently from proposal through signature, implementation, and renewal.
The ideal candidate combines strong contract management experience with commercial awareness. You should be comfortable reviewing and negotiating SaaS agreements, working directly with customers, and building processes that improve visibility and execution in a fast-growing startup environment.
This is a highly cross-functional role that works closely with leadership, operations, finance, engineering, and external counsel.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the full contract lifecycle, from drafting and review through execution, renewal, and ongoing compliance

Draft, review, and redline commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, Order Forms, pilot agreements, and related documents

Support customer contract negotiations while balancing business objectives and risk management

Guide prospects through proposals and commercial discussions, ensuring momentum throughout the sales process

Serve as the primary internal point of contact for contract-related questions and documentation

Complete client security questionnaires, vendor due diligence requests, and compliance-related documentation

Support SOC 2 reviews, compliance initiatives, and customer procurement processes

Maintain contract repositories, templates, playbooks, and documentation standards

Build and improve operational systems, trackers, dashboards, and workflows to increase visibility and efficiency

Partner with finance on invoicing, accounts receivable tracking, collections follow-up, and revenue operations processes

Develop commercial proposals, business case summaries, and supporting materials for customer-facing opportunities

Collaborate with founders, operations, finance, engineering, and external counsel to move deals forward efficiently

Requirements
8+ years of experience in Legal Operations, Sales Operations, Contract Management, Commercial Operations, or a related role

Experience reviewing, redlining, and negotiating commercial agreements

Experience negotiating contracts with enterprise customers

Strong understanding of SaaS contracts, including MSAs, NDAs, Order Forms, and service agreements

Familiarity with key contract concepts such as liability, indemnification, renewals, data protection, and commercial terms

Experience managing multiple contracts, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

Ability to simplify complex contractual concepts for business stakeholders

Comfortable working directly with customers and external partners

Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment

Strong ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving abilities

English proficiency: C2

Preferred Qualifications
Law degree or legal background

Experience supporting B2B SaaS companies

Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance requirements and vendor due diligence processes

Experience completing security questionnaires and procurement documentation

Exposure to revenue operations, deal desk, or sales enablement functions

Experience supporting invoicing, billing, collections, or accounts receivable processes

Experience creating contract playbooks, clause libraries, and standardized workflows

Previous startup or early-stage company experience

Success Metrics (First 3-6 Months)
Take ownership of the contract lifecycle and reduce turnaround times for customer agreements

Establish clear contract management processes and documentation standards

Improve visibility into contract status, obligations, renewals, and compliance requirements

Support customer procurement and security review processes with minimal oversight

Create scalable templates, trackers, and workflows that improve operational efficiency

Become a trusted partner to leadership on commercial and contractual matters

Help accelerate deal velocity while maintaining appropriate risk management standards

Compensation & Logistics
Compensation: $84,000 - $96,000 USD

Location: Remote, Latin America

Time Zone: Must overlap with Miami, Florida business hours

U.S. Holidays

Occasional travel to Miami for team onsite meetings
