*Key Responsibilities**

As a Lead Experience Designer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

Envisioning, creating, and maintaining customer experiences for various consumer-facing products and services
Providing direction and guidance to the design team, sharing expertise and feedback to drive design excellence
Mentoring junior designers, helping them develop their skills and connect with core disciplines
Facilitating complex design programs, exploring user context, and engaging in insight-gathering activities
Collaborating with partners in product, technology, and business to drive design solutions that meet customer needs and business goals
Staying up-to-date on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies
Communicating design decisions and rationale to stakeholders, ensuring strong design solutions that meet business objectives

*Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

A Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of work experience
6+ years of relevant experience in experience design, with a portfolio of professional work
Experience with Agile software delivery environments and common design software (Figma, Adobe, etc.)
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and customer experience

*Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design
Knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and/or CMS
Experience working with design systems and digital product design in a retail environment
Ability to work cross-functionally with product developers and build relationships with stakeholders
Experience leading end-to-end design projects and contributing to multiple design programs or shipped products
