Role Snapshot Full Time: Remote, salaried position with travel

Mission of the Role Maintain and repair analytical and metallographic instruments to minimize downtime Install new systems and implement updates and upgrade kits Educate users on theory, software, operation, and preventive care Deliver service that consistently meets LECO’s ISO accreditation requirements

Territory & Travel Primary coverage across Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina Additional travel to nearby regions as needed Expect travel most days with up to four overnight hotel stays per week (Monday–Friday) Ideal home location: near Atlanta, GA

Growth & Training Begin with 3–5 months of instrumentation training at LECO in St. Joseph, Michigan Advance through mentored field service training with experienced engineers nationwide Refresh and expand your expertise at annual service training at headquarters

What It Takes Proactive, independent work style and strong communication (written and verbal) Professional presence; follow customer site and safety rules Meticulous organization and attention to detail Solid mechanical skills; background with AC and DC electronics or ability to learn quickly Chemistry or military experience is helpful but not required

Credentials Bring one or more of the following: Two Year Technical Degree or Trade School Prior Military with training in a technical field Equivalent technical work experience or training

Practical Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Personal credit card or ability to obtain one
