Junior Business Analyst – Power BI

Solenis is a leading global provider of water and hygiene solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst with Power BI experience to support data-driven decision making across the organization, assisting in developing, maintaining, and optimizing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to support business operations and leadership reporting
• Build and maintain Power BI semantic models and data models, including handling complex relationships
• Write DAX measures and calculated columns to support analytical reporting
• Design and optimize data visualizations that communicate insights clearly to business stakeholders
• Work with large datasets to ensure performance optimization and efficient data refresh processes
• Connect and integrate data from multiple sources such as databases, ERP systems, APIs, and data warehouses
• Assist in data transformation using Power Query (M language)
• Validate and ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards
• Assist with maintaining data infrastructure, reporting servers, and BI platforms
• Support the monitoring of scheduled refreshes, batch processes, and data pipelines
• Help design and maintain backup and recovery procedures for reporting datasets
• Provide operational and technical support for BI tools and related systems
• Work with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Support troubleshooting of data discrepancies, report issues, and system performance challenges
• Document data models, reporting logic, and technical processes

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, DAX, dashboards, and data modeling)
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and ETL processes
• Understanding of data governance and security principles
