What You'll Do: Essential Responsibilities

As an integral member of our Investment Operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions for our clients. Your daily responsibilities will include:


  • Transaction Processing: Execute daily reconciliation activities for various investment products, processing buy and sell transactions in client accounts with meticulous attention to detail. You'll be responsible for identifying and resolving any discrepancies between our systems and partner fund organizations.

  • Trade Reconciliation: Monitor and reconcile trade activities between arenaflex and external fund companies, transfer agents, and clearing organizations. This includes investigating and addressing any breaks or discrepancies that may arise during the transaction lifecycle.

  • Corporate Actions Management: Handle corporate activity events including but not limited to mergers, acquisitions, splits, and dividend distributions. You'll ensure accurate processing and timely execution of all corporate action-related transactions.

  • Transfer Processing: Manage incoming and outgoing transfer requests, ensuring proper documentation, verification, and timely processing of asset transfers between accounts and institutions.

  • Returns Processing: Process and reconcile returned transactions, dividends, and other financial activities, working to resolve any issues that prevent successful completion.

  • Exception Handling: Review and resolve client-level and advisor-level exceptions, escalating complex issues when necessary while maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Support regulatory commitments and requirements, including adherence to industry standards such as those related to financial regulations and compliance frameworks.

  • Tax Documentation: Analyze and interpret relevant tax codes, ensuring accurate tax coding and documentation for various investment transactions and events.

  • Issue Research & Resolution: Investigate complex or escalated issues, performing thorough research to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.

  • System Testing: Participate in testing and validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes, contributing to process improvements and system reliability.

Collaboration & Communication

This role requires consistent communication with various internal and external stakeholders. You will interact primarily with our Retail and Institutional Business Teams through multiple channels including email, phone, and collaboration platforms. Additionally, you will maintain day-to-day relationships with fund companies, transfer agents, clearing organizations, and other external business partners to ensure seamless transaction processing and exceptional service delivery.

  • Location: Must be located and authorized to work in the United States.

  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with technology and various software platforms including email, spreadsheets, and financial systems. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce is a plus.
