Position Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Remote Data Entry Specialist to support our healthcare claims processing operations. This is a temporary position with the possibility of permanent placement based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong typing skills, particularly in numeric data entry, and be comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
This position requires candidates to reside in the state of Montana, as this is a remote-only opportunity specifically designed for Montana residents. You will be equipped with the necessary tools and training to perform your job effectively from your home office.
Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for performing a variety of processing tasks essential to our business operations. Your primary duties will include:
- Data Entry Operations: Accurately input alphanumeric and numeric data from source documents into our computer systems. You will be responsible for transcribing routine pre-coded and identifiable data from various documents and phone communications into automated databases.
- Medical Claims Processing: Enter medical claims data into the Claims System using 10-key and alphanumeric data entry techniques. You will screen medical claim forms for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all required information is present before processing.
- Claims Routing and Adjudication: Route claims to appropriate departments based on successful data entry or the need for additional information. Adjudicate and suspend claims when appropriate, following established guidelines and procedures.
- Document Management: Perform document scanning and processing in the mail room. Manage electronic content storage and retrieval systems to ensure proper documentation and easy access to information.
- Mailroom Activities: Receive and distribute incoming mail and materials. Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently and accurately.
- Financial Processing: Support check processing and electronic fund transfer operations as needed. Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with established protocols.
- Administrative Support: Perform various clerical tasks including numeric filing, data verification, and quality control checks. Provide backup support to other team members as required.
- Electronic Portal Management: Assist with electronic portal operations and media conversion tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Residency: Must be a resident of Montana. This is a remote-only position and candidates must reside within the state of Montana.
