Role: Cloud Network Automation Engineer

Location: Preferred Pleasanton, however open for remote for strong candidates

Duration: 6 month - 1 year with extension possible CTH
• For this role we need both Azure and GCP, currently everything is automated in GCP environment.
• They will be on Terraform, Ansible and Network Automation
• Looking for someone who does automation on network side
• Someone who know API address are, what Azure networking constructs are, Azure load balances,
• Terraform and Ansible and required
• Need someone who has network background, VNETS/VPCs, subnets, routing, peering, VPNs, Transit Gateways, etc.)
• NOT looking for Application DevOps candidates

In-depth understanding of routing protocols, firewalls, DNS, and load balancing.
• Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Solutions Architect, CCNP/CCIE

This role will focus on building, automating, and managing cloud-based network infrastructure, ranging from firewalls to load balancers and routers, across multi-cloud environments.
• Design and implement cloud networking architectures (VNETS/VPCs, subnets, routing, peering, VPNs, Transit Gateways, etc.) in, Azure, GCP and/or OCI.
• Lead the automation of network provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Develop and enforce networking best practices and security standards across cloud environments.
• Integrate network automation with CI/CD pipelines to support Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with security, DevOps, and application teams to ensure optimal network performance and compliance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to architecture and processes.
