Aperture Group LLC is a growing and collaborative organization seeking an IT Support Generalist who will be the first point of contact for internal technical support. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless technology experience for employees, involving troubleshooting, onboarding, and supporting new system implementations.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for end users, resolving hardware, software, and access-related issues (both remote and onsite)
- Manage and document work within the IT Service Management system (tickets, service requests, knowledge base articles, asset tracking)
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding , including device setup, account provisioning, and access management
- Assist with hardware and software deployment , including evaluating and rolling out new tools and technologies
- Help install and maintain AV equipment and office technology , including conference rooms and event spaces
- Deliver basic end-user training and guidance on systems, tools, and best practices
- Partner with IT leadership on projects and process improvements
- Maintain consistent onsite presence to support internal teams
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or desktop support (or relevant internship/entry-level experience)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments, hardware, and common business applications
- Experience with or exposure to Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or similar user/account management tools
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
