The Investigator II in the East Section will be responsible for traveling to several different counties withintheir region of responsibility, while living within their region and assisting in training of School ResourceOfficers throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The ideal candidate shall have proficient verbal and writtencommunication skills, due to interacting with school Superintendents, Principals, students and electedgovernmental officials. As well through compiling state mandated risk assessments utilizing an assessment toolas mandated in the Kentucky Revised Statues.
Whoever is selected must live in Region 7. The OSSSM Region 7 consists of the followingcounties: Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, or Lincoln counties; or an adjacent county to the region(Bourbon, Casey, Estill, Madison, Marion, Mercer, Montgomery, Powell, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Scott, Washington,or Woodford counties. Their office will be based at their home, and DOCJT will provide a vehicle for travelto the school district in which they will be responsible. Occasional travel may be required to other locationswithin the Commonwealth to assist with training, risk assessments, and to attend to the department's needs.
