Nationally recognized intellectual property law firm seeking an IP Paralegal to join their collaborative team. This is a primarily remote opportunity open to West Coast candidates.

    Responsibilities
  • Support patent and trademark prosecution matters
  • Manage USPTO docketing and deadlines
  • Draft, review, and proofread patent and trademark documents and correspondence
  • Prepare patent applications
  • Serve as a client-facing point of contact
  • Manage attorney calendars and assist with billing inquiries
  • Collaborate with attorneys, patent agents, and accounting teams
    Schedule & Compensation
  • Remote opportunity for West Coast candidates
  • Occasional in-office visits preferred for candidates local to San Luis Obispo
  • Flexible schedule options
  • Salary range: $70,000–$90,000, with flexibility up to $100,000 for the right candidate
  • Annual bonus potential
  • Low billable requirement of 800 hours annually

    Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience handling intellectual property matters
  • Experience handling both trademark and patent prosecution
  • USPTO docket management experience
  • Client-facing experience
  • Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
