Insurance Coverage Counseling and Litigation Associate

Nicolaides Fink Thorpe Michaelides Sullivan LLP is seeking an Insurance Coverage Counseling and Litigation Associate to join their San Francisco office. The role involves handling complex legal issues and disputes, while working collaboratively with partners and developing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Handle challenging and complex issues and disputes (litigated and non-litigated) involving a wide array of industries, subject matters, and legal principles
• Develop expertise in a constantly evolving practice area
• Work directly alongside partners in all six offices
• Have regular client contact and develop client relationships

Skills

• 1-3 years of experience
• Civil litigation or insurance coverage experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong writing skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to think strategically
• Ability to problem-solve difficult concepts
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• 1 year of insurance coverage experience
• 1-3 years of civil litigation experience
• Excellent academic record
• Valid bar licensure in CA
