About the role
As a Senior Customer Engineer, you will provide a range of hardware, software, and network technical support, that include troubleshooting, staging and configuration, and resolving tickets for internal and external customers.



Please note that this is a temporary opportunity with the possibility to convert full-time in 6 months.



Location: Deerfield, Illinois, United States


Hourly compensation range: $26–$35 USD



What you’ll be doing



  • Provide IT & End User support (EUS)

  • Assist users with raising Helix tickets or work orders

  • Provide JML support for provisioning/recovering EUS assets and accessories locally in the Deerfield, IL office

  • Deliver IT Induction for new joiners locally in the Deerfield, IL office

  • Provide EUS & IT asset collection, maintenance, storage, provisioning, and inventory support locally

  • Maintain laptop stock at optimum levels for the JML process in conjunction with the IT team

  • Provide white‑glove EUC support for onsite users

  • Create Helix tickets for IT support on behalf of VIP users and provide necessary assistance and guidance

  • Assist users with IT issue resolution in conjunction with IT teams

  • Track and maintain laptops and accessories provided to users

  • Create and maintain Helix KEDB knowledge articles specific to the local site and user needs for faster resolution



What you have



  • 7 years’ experience in IT Service environment.

  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Helix.

  • You must be authorized to work in the United States.



Bonus points



  • BA or equivalent technical school degree preferred or equivalent experience, industry certifications a plus.

  • Helix experience.

  • Hardware break-fix assistance

  • PC imaging processes and procedures

  • Troubleshooting

  • Mobile phone support

  • Audio Visual support
