Birth Control Pharmacist is dedicated to promoting public health services and advocating for patients and pharmacists, with a focus on reproductive health. We are excited to expand our team to include an Implementation Coordinator, who will provide technical assistance to support pharmacies in providing reproductive health services.


As a Implementation Coordinator, you will work closely with pharmacists, public health professionals, and reproductive health advocates. You will coordinate public awareness efforts through community organization collaborations, foster connections between pharmacies and other healthcare providers, engage in pharmacy outreach efforts around reproductive health initiatives, and provide technical assistance to pharmacies.


Responsibilities

  • Providing technical assistance to community pharmacies to launch and sustain reproductive health services
  • Raise public awareness through community organization collaborations and other strategies
  • Identify priority geographical areas
  • Represent Birth Control Pharmacist by participating in implementation stakeholder meetings, primarily virtual with optional in-person participation
  • Collaborate with internal team members to align efforts and meet program goals
  • Plan, research, and write blogs, reports, and other publications aimed at a variety of audiences
  • Assist in the development of reports to funders
  • Contribute to project development and management


Required Qualifications

  • Must legally reside in the US and all work must be completed in the US
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with the intersection of state policy and the health care market, including health care providers’ scope of practice
  • Experience working with healthcare providers (especially pharmacists)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience related to pharmacy practice and/or sexual and reproductive health or maternal child health preferred
  • Passion for reproductive rights and access to health care


Salary and Benefits

  • $60,000 - $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and location

Birth Control Pharmacist provides education and training, implementation assistance, resources, and clinical updates to pharmacists prescribing contraception and key stakeholders, as well as leading and stimulating advocacy, research, and policy efforts to expand the role and realize the potential of pharmacists in reproductive health and justice
