Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Sterling Engineer to strengthen and evolve our B2B integration platforms, with a focus on containerized deployments and cloud-native solutions. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, automate, and maintain secure, scalable integration environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support B2B integrations using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Secure File Gateway (SFG).


• Implement and manage containerized Sterling environments.


• Deploy and maintain solutions in cloud platforms, with preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).


• Enhance automation through programming/scripting (e.g., Python).


• Support infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation using Terraform and Helm Charts.


• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.


• Implement test automation to improve reliability and release quality.


• Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations teams to ensure performance, security, and scalability.


• Troubleshoot and resolve integration, deployment, and runtime issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on expertise with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and/or Secure File Gateway (SFG).


• Strong background in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).


• Cloud experience, ideally with GCP.


• Programming/scripting proficiency (Python preferred).


• Solid understanding of B2B integration concepts, file transfer protocols, and security standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform and Helm Charts.


• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.


• Exposure to test automation frameworks.


• Background in highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud architectures.


• Knowledge of modernizing or migrating legacy Sterling environments to cloud-native platforms.
