Human Resource Coordinator - Shared Services

One of our favorite clients is currently looking for a Leave of Absence Coordinator to support the Leave Administration team in a shared service, remote environment. This role will involve heavy phone work as you are communicating with employees about STD, FMLA and ADA. In this role you must have a passion for helping others.
This role is fully remote, but the training will occur on site in the Charlotte market. You must be local to the Charlotte market.
- Key Functions of the role:
- Be the forefront of support for inbound calls from employees who are on leave, have questions about medical leaves or are returning from a leave.
- Keep records of all call conversations in leave system in a comprehensible way
- Research and resolve discrepancies between associates and leave request
- Maintain leave of absence documentation, files and data
- Reviews file notes and explain leave process to associates and managers
- Coordination of Salaried Short Term Disability with Corporate payroll
- Compiles employee data and submits information regarding any state leave
- Monitors and tracks leave of absences and follows up on required paperwork such as medical certification, request for extended leave, and other required information
- Works with associates keeping them informed of any employee's leave of absence. Key Qualifications

- You love interaction and helping others via phone, email, or in person
- 1+ years of customer interaction via phone preferred but customer service experience is great (call center experience is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Team player who is friendly, outgoing and creative
- Thrive working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong time management and ownership of deliverables
- Detail oriented with ability to analyze, problem solve, organize and manage multiple priorities
- You are analytical and critically think in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same
- Tech savvy, you know Microsoft Office and are able to pick up new technology
- Typing while someone is talking to you is fun, must have strong typing skills and the ability to multi-task

Training is onsite for the 1st 2 weeks- Role is 100% remote after that but candidates must leave within driving distance of Charlotte, NC.
