HR Generalist
Posted 2026-05-06Basic Function:The HR Generalist plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, responsive HR support across the organization. This position serves as a trusted resource to managers and employees, managing a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, benefits administration, HR systems, compliance, performance management support, and policy administration (excluding talent acquisition). The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient, tech-savvy HR professional who can operate autonomously, pivot quickly across priorities, and drive execution in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires strong systems capability, sound HR judgment, and the ability to manage both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR operations with excellence.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, vendor coordination, audits, and compliance with federal and state regulations.Serve as a key contributor to HRIS configuration, maintenance, and optimization, including workflows, reporting, data integrity, and system enhancements.Support total rewards processes, including compensation cycle administration, benchmarking support, reporting, and data validation.Ensure HR operational excellence, maintaining accurate employee records, documentation, and scalable processes across the employee lifecycle.Monitor and support employment law compliance, partnering to maintain policies, required postings, documentation, and regulatory alignment across jurisdictions.Provide consultative guidance to managers on HR policies, benefits, compliance, and performance documentation best practices, exercising sound judgment and clear communication.Generate and analyze HR reports and data insights to support decision-making related to headcount, compensation, benefits, and operational trends.Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and accuracy within HR operations and systems.Serve as backup support for payroll processing as needed, executing established payroll processes in accordance with documented procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and business leaders to ensure alignment of HR operations with broader organizational objectives.Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Specifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Experience:A minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or comprehensive HR role, preferably within the SaaS sector.Demonstrated experience supporting multiple HR functional areas (employee relations, benefits, compliance, performance management, HR operations).Hands-on benefits administration experience, including vendor coordination and employee support.Experience administering and working within HRIS platforms; UKG Ready configuration experience strongly preferred.Experience supporting managers with practical, solution-oriented HR guidance.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.Solid benefits knowledge, including eligibility, enrollments, life events, and compliance considerations.HRIS proficiency with systems administration, workflow management, reporting, and data integrity practices.High level of technical aptitude; ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High degree of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.Strong organizational skills with the ability to pivot quickly across varied HR responsibilities.Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable operating with autonomy.
Travel: Minimal, generally 12 days or less per year
