Team Summary

Our IT Infrastructure Department consists of three core specialised functions: IT Support (end-user technical support), Systems Engineering (server, network, and cloud infrastructure administration), and Information Security (cybersecurity).

Our mission is to provide strategic leadership and operational management of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high levels of reliability, security, availability, and scalability.

We are building our work around robust IT Service Management (ITSM/ITIL) practices, continuous infrastructure modernisation, and strict compliance with international information security standards. The team acts as a tech foundation that effectively serves both our outsourcing business and the company's internal product ecosystem.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned, strategic Head of IT with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams across IT Support, Infrastructure, and Information Security, and operating effectively in highly ambiguous, fast-paced, and business-critical environments.

This role offers high strategic impact, with direct influence on the company’s IT strategy, resource allocation, and C-level technology decision-making. It provides full end-to-end ownership of the IT function — from ensuring high-quality day-to-day support to defining and executing long-term cloud and technology roadmaps, as well as a unique opportunity to lead international compliance and certification initiatives (e.g., ISO standards) from setup through audit execution.

Responsibilities and Duties

Define and execute the company's IT strategy in alignment with business priorities and long-term goals

Lead, coach, and develop the IT organization across IT Support, Systems Engineering, and Information Security functions

Ensure high reliability, availability, and scalability of corporate IT infrastructure and cloud services

Own corporate information security strategy (including risk management, asset protection, and regulatory compliance)

Lead international certification initiatives (ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 9001), including policy development and end-to-end audit management

Manage the IT budget and vendor portfolio, including cost planning, optimization, and contractual negotiations

Ensure business continuity by maintaining Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans (BCP/DR) and leading incident response processes

Drive key technical initiatives (infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, process automation)

Develop and continuously improve ITSM processes, SLA governance, and user satisfaction measurement

Qualifications and Skills

7+ years of experience in IT, including at least 2 years in a leadership role

Proven experience leading cross-functional teams across IT Support, Infrastructure, and Information Security functions

Strong background in managing corporate IT infrastructure and cloud platforms

Solid understanding of information security practices, including IAM, EDR, SIEM, and vulnerability management

Hands-on experience with compliance and risk management frameworks, including ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and ISO 9001

At least Upper-Intermediate level of written and spoken English

Strong strategic mindset with a hands-on ownership approach and effective communication skills

Nice to have

Experience implementing or migrating enterprise platforms such as ITSM, IAM, or cloud solutions

Understanding of DevOps practices and their integration into enterprise IT environments

Familiarity with IT governance frameworks such as COBIT or NIST

Advanced academic background (Master’s degree or MBA) and/or relevant professional certifications in IT management or information security
