Job Overview and Key Responsibilities
- In this exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with our General Manager – Political Engagement and provide administrative and program support for DeltaPAC, GOTV, grassroots, site visits, and other political engagement initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of presentations and reports to drive business outcomes and inform stakeholders
- Participating in the planning and execution of department functions, including events and meetings
- Providing exceptional support to the Government Affairs team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assignments
- Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures, prioritizing the security of self, others, and personal data
- Embracing diverse people, thinking, and styles, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment
Essential Qualifications
- To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Be enrolled as a graduate degree-seeking, current/active student in an accredited graduate program at a college and/or university
- Be willing to commit to the duration of the internship, which may last up to 12 months or longer
- Be detail-oriented, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Have strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as basic level familiarity with photo editing or graphic design programs
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, with the ability to convey a positive image to all levels of employees
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency, and be at least 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States
