We are seeking a senior Governance & Compliance Consultant to support the development of a Monitoring Roadmap and Oversight Framework for a government client. This engagement will focus on assessing current monitoring practices and designing a standardized, risk-based monitoring and oversight framework across multiple programs and stakeholders.
- This is a proposal-based opportunity. Selected candidates will be included in the proposed team and engaged upon contract award.
- *Scope of Work:**
- Support current state assessment of monitoring practices, tools, and processes
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas of risk across programs or entities
- Lead development of a standardized monitoring and oversight framework
- Design risk-based monitoring approaches (e.g., risk tiering, prioritization models)
- Define governance structures, roles, and accountability mechanisms
- Align framework with federal and/or state requirements (2 CFR Part 200 and subrecipient monitoring experience strongly preferred)
- *Qualifications:**
- Experience supporting government agencies, grant-funded programs, or similar environments
- Strong background in governance, compliance, oversight, or monitoring frameworks
- Experience designing standardized processes across multiple stakeholders or entities
- Familiarity with risk-based monitoring approaches and compliance requirements
- Ability to translate complex requirements into structured frameworks and practical solutions
