GCP Solution Architect / Terraform (IaC) Expert – Build Infrastructure from Scratch

Project Description:

We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Solution Architect with strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable GCP infrastructure from scratch while following industry best practices.

This role requires someone who can architect, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure while maintaining a clean and structured Terraform codebase and managing the full SDLC through Terraform Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect scalable and secure infrastructure in GCP

Build and deploy infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

Develop reusable Terraform modules and maintain clean code standards

Implement infrastructure from scratch following GCP architecture best practices

Manage infrastructure lifecycle using Terraform Enterprise

Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployment workflows

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure infrastructure reliability and scalability

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Expert-level knowledge of Terraform

Hands-on experience building GCP infrastructure from the ground up

Experience designing VPCs, IAM, networking, and security architecture

Experience managing Terraform Enterprise workflows and SDLC

Ability to write clean, modular, and reusable Terraform code

Understanding of GCP architecture best practices

Experience with Git-based infrastructure workflows

Preferred Qualifications:

GCP Professional Architect certification

Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and containerized environments

Experience with multi-environment Terraform deployments (dev/stage/prod)

Project Scope:

Architect and implement a complete GCP environment using Terraform

Establish best practices for infrastructure code

Build scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud infrastructure
