We’re looking for a Game Designer with a strong grasp of game balancing and systems design, backed by a solid understanding of mathematics and a college degree in a relevant field.

About the Role:

As a Game Designer focused on balance, you’ll work closely with our design and data teams to fine-tune gameplay systems, progression curves, in-game economies, and difficulty scaling. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our games are fair, fun, and deeply engaging for players of all skill levels.

    Responsibilities:
  • Design and balance game systems, mechanics, and progression
  • Analyze gameplay data to identify balance issues and propose solutions
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and product teams to implement and iterate on features
  • Develop and tune in-game economies, rewards, and difficulty scaling
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets, formulas, and balance models to support your work
    Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of game mechanics and system design
  • Proficiency in math, probability, and statistical analysis
  • Experience designing or balancing live or released games
  • College degree in Game Design, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, simulation tools, and version control
    Bonus Points:
  • Experience with F2P games, especially in economy design or live ops
  • Strong scripting or data visualization skills
  • Deep knowledge of genre-specific balance best practices
