Role Summary:
This is a hands-on Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer position focused on building, automating, and modernizing AWS cloud infrastructure. Initially, the work is heavily centered on DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, AWS operations, and deployment automation, with a path toward broader Platform Engineering capabilities (Internal Developer Platforms, self-service tooling, developer enablement).

- Containerization and orchestration with ECS/Fargate
- Platform reliability, security, and observability
- Application modernization (On-Prem → AWS)
- Required Technical Skills:
- AWS: EC2, ECS, ECR, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch
- Containers: Docker
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
- Source Control / CI/CD: GitHub, GitHub Actions
- Programming: Python preferred
- Monitoring/Logging: CloudWatch, Datadog
- Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct architecture and deployment readiness reviews
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Automate application deployments in AWS
- Deploy/manage workloads on AWS ECS Fargate
- Provision and monitor AWS infrastructure
- Maintain Terraform-based infrastructure
- Perform code reviews and enforce engineering standards
- Implement security and compliance controls
- Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Support application modernization initiatives
- Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 4+ years as DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer / Cloud Engineer
- Strong AWS production experience
- Experience collaborating with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams
- Comfortable with incident response and production support
- Experience building scalable, repeatable deployment pipelines
