We're not a startup finding its footing. We're a team that moves fast, builds boldly, and is already #1 in our niche. And we're just getting started. Now we are looking for a native English-speaking freelance Comics Editor/Proofreader to join our content team.

This isn't a red-pen-and-grammar job. We need someone who can feel the rhythm of a scene, hear when a line of dialogue falls flat, and know the difference between a character who sounds real and one who sounds like they were translated.

What You'll Be Doing:
• Proofreading and editing scripts written by non-native English speakers – improving clarity, tone, grammar, syntax, dialogue flow, character voice, and narrative consistency.
• Reviewing finished artwork in Figma – proofreading text as it appears on panels.
• Editing platform content – blog posts, title descriptions, and other English-language copy.
• Collaborating directly with scriptwriters and designers, giving feedback where it counts.

You're a Great Fit If You:
• Are native English speaker – this is a must.
• Have 2+ years of experience in proofreading, editing, or a related role.
• Have a natural feel for dialogue, slang, and conversational writing.
• Can juggle multiple titles independently.
• Meet deadlines reliably and adapt when release schedules shift.
• Are comfortable working with adult content.
• Know your way around Google Docs, Word, and ideally Figma.
• Have a thing for pop culture, storytelling, comics, manga, or webtoons.

Bonus points for:
• Background in scriptwriting, film, theatre, or journalism.
• Degree in English, English Literature, Journalism, Film, or Theatre Studies.
• Prior experience with comics, manga, or webtoon content specifically.

Our Hiring Process:
• Pre-screen call with recruiter.
• Test Task.
• Interview with the Proofreading Lead based on the result of your Test task.

• Flexible schedule with overlap during Ukrainian working hours (Kyiv time).
