Fractional SEO Growth Partner (Long-Term Agency Partnership) Remote | Ongoing Monthly Retainer Work

We are a 20-year young New York-based digital agency seeking a highly experienced Freelance SEO Growth Partner for ongoing monthly client work.

This is not a short-term contract or stepping-stone role. We are specifically looking for a career independent freelancer/consultant who has intentionally built a long-term freelance practice and values stable agency partnerships over returning to corporate employment.

ypical Monthly Scope (Per Client)--Approx. 6-8 hours/month

Responsibilities include:

Strategic SEO
• Learn each client’s business, audience, and goals
• Identify search growth opportunities based on site and industry audit
• Recommend proactive SEO improvements

Content + AI-Assisted Workflow
• Propose monthly article topics
• Deliver **2–3 high-quality blog posts**
• Use AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency (not replace expertise)
• Source relevant images
• Publish after approval

Technical SEO
• On-page optimization
• Metadata improvements
• Internal linking
• Technical audits
• Schema / semantic SEO recommendations
• AI-search / SERP visibility optimization

Reporting- Provide monthly reporting with:
• Key performance insights clearly written
• Work completed
• Strategic observations and recommendations

Process
• Maintain shared workbook for tracking
• Meet all deadlines
• Communicate proactively

Required Experience

Must have:

• 4+ years hands-on SEO experience

• Proven SEO results

• Strong technical + content SEO skills

• Current knowledge of AI workflows and overviews

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Strong responsiveness

• Availability during ET business hours (approx. 9–6)

• NDA required prior to onboarding
