Director of Capture (Federal Civilian / DoD) — Fractional/Strategic Growth Advisor
Primary Mission
Position LES inside high-value federal capture efforts and influence pursuit outcomes through early shaping, relationship strategy, and capture execution discipline.
- Key Impact Areas
- Drive capture strategy for targeted $3M–$20M+ federal opportunities
- Position LES with major primes early in capture lifecycle
- Shape teaming strategies and partnership structures
- Influence solution positioning aligned to agency mission drivers
- Guide opportunity selection and bid discipline
- Provide executive-level capture advisory to LES leadership
- Support win strategy and competitive positioning
Required Executive-Level Experience
- Candidates must demonstrate:
- 12+ years Federal GovCon experience
- 5+ years direct capture leadership responsibility
- Direct involvement in capture for $10M+ federal opportunities
- Experience working inside major federal prime contractor environment
- Demonstrated success influencing pursuits before RFP release
- Deep understanding of Federal or DoD acquisition ecosystem
Highly Valued Background
- Experience supporting:
- Workforce transformation programs
- Training / human capital / mission performance programs
- Federal civilian or DoD mission programs
- Digital transformation programs with workforce impact
Prime contractor experience strongly preferred.
