Overview

Health Is Freedom is seeking a Fractional AI Specialist to design and implement an automated customer service infrastructure that minimizes the need for manual support.

This role focuses on building AI-driven workflows, automated response systems, and structured communication flows that handle the majority of customer inquiries without human involvement.

The goal is to create a scalable, automated support system capable of resolving most customer questions through intelligent email responses, automated workflows, and AI-powered messaging.

This is a short-term project-based engagement focused on designing the architecture, building automation flows, and implementing the supporting systems.

    Project Objectives
  • Design a low-touch customer service system powered by AI and automation
  • Automate common customer inquiries (orders, shipping, product questions, returns, etc.)
  • Build automated email response systems and support workflows
  • Create structured escalation logic for edge cases
  • Reduce manual involvement in customer support operations
  • Implement scalable processes that support future growth

Responsibilities

    Customer Service Automation Architecture
  • Analyze current customer service inquiries and identify opportunities for automation
  • Design the structure for an AI-powered customer support workflow
  • Map automated response flows for common support scenarios
    AI & Workflow Implementation
  • Implement AI-powered response systems for customer emails
  • Build automated support workflows and routing logic
  • Develop scripts and response templates for common customer inquiries
  • Configure automation tools to categorize and resolve support requests
    System Design & Documentation
  • Develop clear workflow structures and escalation pathways
  • Document automation logic and system architecture
  • Provide recommendations for future improvements and scalability
    Communication Automation
  • Implement automated email responses and support messaging
  • Design intelligent categorization and routing for inbound inquiries
  • Explore tools or systems for automated outbound notifications or updates

Relevant Tools & Experience

  • Workflow automation tools
  • API integrations (preferred but not required)

    By the end of the project, the specialist will have:
  • Designed the customer service automation architecture
  • Built AI-assisted response flows for common inquiries
  • Implemented automated workflows for support requests
  • Created escalation logic for edge cases
  • Delivered documentation for the system and automation logic

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
