AAFCPAs is an innovative and forward-thinking firm with a focus on automation. The Financial Statement Processing Coordinator will perform a variety of document processing functions to support the firm and its clients, ensuring quality output and compliance with established procedures.


Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of document processing functions in support of the firm and its clients according to established policies, formats, and practices
  • Responsible for formatting, editing, and processing various documents for clients
  • Follow established procedures to prepare and format client audit and tax documents
  • Review document language and format to ensure quality output following compliance procedures
  • Proof, edit and format financial statements and other reports for final review and approval, complete and send to client and/or tax agencies on behalf of clients
  • Prepare electronic copies of drafts, as well as printing and collating draft copies for client meetings in a professional format when needed
  • Converts documents, when necessary, from multiple formats
  • Works independently to manage workflow and volume of requests using our tracking software
  • Ability to prioritize work according to the various deadlines
  • Work as a team member in the firm’s Internal Client Service department

Skills

  • Previous administrative experience, preparing documents, reports, and presentations required
  • Build relationships and communicates effectively with team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of documents
  • Demonstrated strong client service orientation
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on accuracy in grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Ability to proofread typed material for grammatical, format and typographical errors
  • Proven detail orientation and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, identifying opportunities for efficiencies
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
  • Should be a people person, should be patient and understanding as there will always be last-minute emergency tasks that come their way should enjoy a fast-paced day during the busier months, experience working with many, many different personalities
  • Able to work in a remote environment when needed
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, communication, English or related field preferred
  • Experience with multiple systems and tools: CCH Engagement, Caseware, XCM, ProFX, SurePrep, or similar processing systems preferred
