Financial Analyst, Global Streaming

NBCUniversal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies, known for creating and distributing world-class content across various platforms. The Financial Analyst will manage day-to-day financial operations within the Global Streaming finance function, focusing on planning, forecasting, and reporting on costs while partnering with operations and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly financial cycle for expense tracking within Global Streaming, inclusive of monthly close, pacing, and other updates to FP&A
• Assist in the preparation of key financial deliverables, such as budget, operational finance reviews, Long Range Planning, and other analyses as needed
• Prepare monthly and quarterly presentations to Global Streaming business partners and finance
• Perform variance, trend and KPI analysis across the Global Streaming portfolio
• Own vendor management and invoicing process within Tech & Product Finance
• Improve existing process and introduce automation to scale delivery where feasible

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or similar field
• 1+ years' experience in a finance or accounting role
• Experience with SAP
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint User
• Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in reporting, financial analysis and reconciliations
• Exceptional organization and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities or projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of finance, operations, and senior management
• Proactive and innovative mindset with the ability to take initiative to resolve issues and implement best practices
• Team-oriented, with the ability to build strong relationships, support colleagues, and foster a positive, inclusive team environment
• Agile and adaptable, demonstrating effectiveness in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
• Entertainment/Media experience a plus
