Premier Early Childhood Education Partners is a private early childhood education organization seeking a Financial Analyst. The role involves evaluating potential M&A transactions, building financial models, conducting market research, and supporting due diligence processes to drive strategic growth initiatives in early childhood education.


Responsibilities

  • Evaluate potential M&A transactions, De Novo childcare center openings, and other strategic growth initiatives
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, including valuation analyses and scenario modeling specific to childcare center performance (e.g., enrollment, tuition rates, staffing ratios, and occupancy trends)
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis across local childcare markets, including supply/demand dynamics, demographic trends, and regulatory considerations
  • Support all aspects of the due diligence process, including in-depth analysis of financial, licensing, and operational data for childcare providers
  • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and recommendations throughout the deal lifecycle (from sourcing through integration planning)
  • Assist in the development of board-level materials outlining strategic priorities, including expansion into new geographies and optimization of existing childcare centers
  • Develop and maintain internal tracking tools for pipeline management, deal activity, and performance of acquired and newly developed centers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, education, and licensing teams to support transaction execution and successful integration
  • Maintain strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience (internship experience will be considered)
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Interest in growth strategy and finance
  • Ability to maintain strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, consulting, or a related field
