Field Service Engineer

Primepick is building a new generation of smart vending machines powered by robotics, automation, and food technology. They are seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to support and maintain robotic vending systems in the field, focusing on troubleshooting and ensuring operational reliability of the machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting at the base location and across field locations
• Diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Repair and reassemble mechanical assemblies, replace faulty components
• Work directly with robotic and mechatronic systems (actuators, motion systems, sensors)
• Test key subsystems including cooling, heating, and sensing
• Support deployment of control software updates and verify system behavior
• Ensure machines are fully operational after service interventions
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify issues
• Maintain service records and update task status
• Collaborate with engineering to report issues and improve system reliability

Skills

• Experience with PLC-based systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with electromechanical / mechatronic systems
• Understanding of control logic and signal flow
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience with tools and mechanical assembly
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Experience with robotics or manipulators
• Experience with servo systems or motion components
• Experience with refrigeration or food equipment
• Experience with IoT or connected systems
• Experience with testing or deployments
