Salary: $58,915.00/yr. (Additional compensation available for candidates with a master's degree)

How your role makes a difference When family conflict makes home an unsafe place, children are at risk of entering foster care and families are at risk of separation. HOMEBUILDERS® is focused on prevention. The goal is to build on a family’s strengths, equipping them to care for their child in their home before a challenge reaches a crisis point. When families are referred for services, a Homebuilders specialist comes to their home to assess their needs and create a targeted plan. The goal is to mitigate safety concerns that would prevent children from remaining at home with their parents. In this role, you would work with a small caseload of families, conducting in-home sessions 3-5 times per week. Each family’s needs are unique, so interventions could include helping them meet basic needs, teaching communication skills, teaching parenting skills and behavior modification skills, and using advanced techniques. Candidates must be able to serve clients in the listed Maine counties: Hancock, Knox, Lincoln, Penobscot, Waldo, Northern Aroostook and Washington
This position is based out of your home office in Maine and requires significant travel, with 50% of your time spent in the community providing in-home and local support to families
