- *Position Overview**
As a Treasury Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in our efforts to reunite unclaimed properties with their rightful owners. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner
- Conducting thorough research to determine the rightful ownership of property consisting of cash, securities, and/or safe deposit box contents
- Reviewing and analyzing a wide variety of legal documents and informational paperwork submitted by claimants
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data and ensuring the security of our systems and processes
- Providing exceptional customer service in a call center environment, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct thorough research to determine the rightful ownership of property consisting of cash, securities, and/or safe deposit box contents
- Review and analyze a wide variety of legal documents and informational paperwork submitted by claimants
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and ensure the security of our systems and processes
- Provide exceptional customer service in a call center environment, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner
- *Essential Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems (Treasury Customer Service Representative 6)
- Two years of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems, including one year equivalent to a Treasury Customer Service Representative 6 (Treasury Customer Service Representative 7)
- Three years of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems, including two years equivalent to a Treasury Customer Service Representative 6 or one year equivalent to a Treasury Customer Service Representative 7 (Treasury Customer Service Representative E8)
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience working in a call center environment
- Knowledge of unclaimed property laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
