Position Overview

We are excited to announce an opening for a Test Development Engineer to support our cybersecurity activities and test development initiatives. This role involves working closely with external manufacturing partners and internal test development teams to ensure the highest standards of security and quality in our products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining security hardening processes, developing test scripts, and analyzing system test failures.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Process Development: Plan and define comprehensive security hardening processes and provide clear, detailed instructions to contract manufacturers in North America. Ensure all security protocols are strictly followed and maintained throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal developers, engineers, and management teams, as well as external partner organizations, to drive continuous improvements in testing methodologies and security enhancements. Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Security Issue Investigation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate, analyze, and resolve complex security issues that may arise during product development or manufacturing. Develop effective solutions to mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• System Administration: Manage operating system upgrades and provide support for recurring hardening updates, network security configurations, remote access systems, and overall system administration of test stations. Ensure all systems remain up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
• Test Script Development: Develop and implement Python-based test scripts according to detailed test specifications. Create robust, automated testing frameworks that efficiently validate product functionality and security features.
• Failure Analysis: Perform in-depth driver analysis of system test failures and execute appropriate corrective or preventive actions. Document findings and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet rigorous quality and security standards before release. Conduct thorough testing procedures and maintain detailed records of all test results and observations.

Essential Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered for candidates with demonstrated expertise in the field.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development, hardware troubleshooting, or test engineering. This experience should demonstrate your ability to handle complex technical challenges and deliver results under pressure.
