As a Temporary Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Collect, code, input, and retrieve information using data entry functions
  • Enter data from keying worksheets into Excel spreadsheets in preparation for transferring lock information into UTWorks Key module Program
  • Evaluate and verify notes and reports for correctness and accuracy before entering information into Excel spreadsheets
  • Maintain confidential records and files, ensuring security and confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Confer with other department personnel as needed on data entry matters and represent Lock & Key Services on special projects
  • Compose routine correspondence and perform related duties as required

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High school graduation or GED
  • Three years of experience in an office environment
  • Two years of above-average experience with data entry with a high degree of accuracy
  • Two years of intermediate experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent telephone and email etiquette
  • Current Class "C" Texas Operator Driver License required

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role:

  • Associate's degree or higher in business administration or similar
  • More than three years of broad-based experience in an office environment
  • Two or more years of above-average experience with data entry with a high degree of accuracy
