Position Overview: Talent Data Analyst

Location: Remote (Work-from-Home)

Department: Human Resources – Talent Analytics & Insights

The primary purpose of this role is to cultivate an insights-driven Talent organization, enabling strategic skills decisions and driving superior talent and business outcomes by making data-enabled decisions with confidence. As a Talent Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will serve as a critical bridge between workforce data and strategic business decisions. Your work will ensure that the right information is available at the right time so that stakeholders can make informed, confident decisions that positively impact both our employees and our business performance.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our Talent Data Operations & Insights team, you will be responsible for:


  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead the Talent Data Operations & Insights crew, specializing in strategic partnership and customer-driven products that deliver measurable business value.
  • Strategic Roadmap Development: Develop a transport roadmap that supports the development, execution, and advancement of the overall Talent strategy to meet business objectives. This includes identifying key milestones and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Insight Generation: Provide relevant insights to Talent Partners and Delivery leaders, proactively highlighting wins, opportunities, and risks with informed recommendations that drive strategic action.
  • Data Modeling: Develop data models that are easily digestible to assist the team in making informed decisions. You will create scalable, repeatable analytical frameworks that simplify complex workforce data.
  • Priority Identification: Identify priorities and roadmap items unique to the business, incorporating multiple internal and external data sources to create comprehensive talent intelligence.
  • Strategic Advisory Enablement: Enable the Talent team to become strategic advisors with the capacity to directly influence business results through data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Consultancy & Analysis: Deliver Consultancy, Analysis & Insights, and Self-Serve Tools that empower stakeholders across the organization to make better talent decisions.
  • Governance & Process Improvement: Influence leaders on leveraging available insights and drive governance efforts, including business process improvements and accountability management.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:


  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field demonstrates your ability to handle complex analytical challenges.
  • Business Acumen: Strong domain knowledge in business areas and understanding of internal data ecosystems. You should be comfortable navigating and integrating data from multiple organizational systems.
  • Strategy Development: Experience in developing and executing talent strategy, analysis, and insights plans that align with organizational objectives.
  • Analytical Excellence: A proven track record in delivering complex analysis and insights supporting strategic initiatives. You should demonstrate the ability to translate raw data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to develop scalable and repeatable suite of tools that meet business needs. Proficiency in data visualization, statistical analysis, and reporting tools is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Strong relationship-building and communication abilities with businesses and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Governance Expertise: Experience in using governance efforts, including business process improvements and handling accountability with minimal supervision.
