Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support to our customers across various channels, primarily telephone communications. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Telephone Support: Answer incoming calls from customers in a professional, courteous manner. Respond to inquiries, provide information, and ensure every caller receives the assistance they need.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate participant concerns thoroughly and take the next best step to resolve issues efficiently. This may involve researching account details, consulting with team members, or escalating complex cases to appropriate departments.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Accurately enter information into our pension system and maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
- Case Tracking: Monitor and track ongoing cases to ensure timely resolution. Follow up with customers as needed to provide updates on the status of their concerns.
- Billing & Service Complaints: Resolve customer service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills as appropriate.
- Customer Notifications: Proactively contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments to their accounts.
- Escalation Management: Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation, ensuring no concern goes unaddressed.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all interactions comply with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices. Maintain the highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Customer Service, Call Center operations, or Payment Processing is required. Prior experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry is highly preferred.
- Payment Processing Expertise: Hands-on experience with payment processing is required. Familiarity with ACH transactions, wire transfers, and electronic fund transfers is strongly preferred.
- Education: High School diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Finance, Business, or Communications) is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook, data entry software, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to articulate information clearly, listen actively, and convey empathy in every interaction.
- Attention to Detail: The ability to accurately document and record customer/client information is essential. Errors in financial data can have significant consequences, so precision is critical.
- Customer Service Orientation: A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences.
