As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in providing empathetic and informative support to our members, providers, and pharmacies. You'll be responsible for answering questions, handling problems, and making outbound calls to ensure seamless communication and resolution of pharmacy benefit, provider, or claim issues. - *Key Responsibilities**
- Answer questions and handle problems regarding pharmacy benefit, provider, or claim issues
- Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to follow up with members, providers, and pharmacies as necessary
- Spend approximately 90% of your time on the phones, providing empathetic customer service and resolving issues efficiently
- Seek approval for overrides and prior authorizations as needed and enter them into the claims system
- Monitor pharmacy claims processing and complete data entry of member records
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management
- *Essential Qualifications**
- 1+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare industry
- A pharmacy technician certification (active or inactive) is highly preferred
- 1+ year(s) of PBM or health benefits experience
- Experience in working in a high-volume call center is highly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare industry
- Advanced pharmacy technician certification (e.g., CPhT, RPh)
- Experience with claims processing and data entry
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy benefit management and healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
