  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • **Customer Experience:**
  • + Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.+ Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.+ Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
  • **Operations:**
  • + Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.+ Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items.+ Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested.+ Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.+ Assist customers in locating products and maintain a clean and well-merchandised store environment.
  • **Pharmacy Operations:**
  • + Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow.+ Utilize pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.+ Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions.+ Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • **Inventory Management:**
  • + Assist with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.+ Maintain knowledge of company asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs.
  • **Additional Responsibilities:**
  • + Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine.+ Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.+ Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) or state registration preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing prescriptions and customer transactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • PTCB certification or state registration.
  • Experience with pharmacy systems and software.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and laws.
