We're currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Pharmacist to join our Centralized Services team in a remote capacity. Position Overview

As a Pharmacist on our Centralized Services team, you'll play a pivotal role in executing our medical service methodologies and driving exceptional patient wellbeing outcomes. You'll be responsible for implementing patient intervention pharmacy programs, ensuring compliance with clinical pharmacy services, and executing against established pharmacy initiatives that maximize reimbursement while improving patient health outcomes. This remote position allows you to leverage your clinical expertise from the comfort of your home while staying connected with clinical communities and representing arenaflex as a trusted healthcare resource.

Key Responsibilities


  • Clinical Patient Care Programs: Execute direct patient care programs including Drug Therapy Management, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects. You'll work directly with patients to optimize their medication regimens and ensure safe, effective therapy outcomes.
  • Program Execution & Business Alignment: Drive the execution of various policies and operations to ensure business needs are being met while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care. Align pharmacy initiatives with organizational financial goals and strategic objectives.
  • Compliance & Quality Improvement: Lead compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by researching, evaluating, and redesigning processes; monitoring and analyzing results; and implementing necessary changes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.
  • Financial Performance Leadership: Drive local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies with company financial goals. Implement and execute patient intervention pharmacy programs that maximize financial performance while prioritizing patient health outcomes.
  • Patient Experience Enhancement: Support efforts to improve patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services including patient consultation, medication management, drug therapy reviews, and retail, clinical, or wellness services such as vaccinations, illness state management, and Specialty programs.
  • Team Development & Support: Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacy staff and field leadership. Support staff training experiences and advancement opportunities while promoting collaboration and inspiring pharmacy staff through a shared vision aligned with company policies, procedures, mission, values, and ethical standards.
  • Clinical Review & Accuracy: Conduct comprehensive medication and clinical reviews, taking necessary actions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications. Review drug histories and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication therapy while providing individualized patient and provider consultations.
  • Patient Relationship Building: Through utilization of superior interpersonal skills, earn the trust of patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for pharmacy-related questions and issues.
  • Client Retention Program Feedback: Provide feedback regarding the effectiveness of the Client Retention Program, incorporating comments from patients about the value of individual consultations and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Clinical Consultation: Be responsible for all inquiries, discussions, and recommendations that relate directly to patient treatment. Provide clinical advice and expertise to patients, physicians, and insurance plans as needed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations. Maintain current knowledge of Pharmacy industry developments and maintain required licensure throughout employment.
  • HIPAA & Privacy Standards: Comply with company policies and procedures including all HIPAA guidelines and regulations. Handle all patient information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Essential Qualifications


  • Licensure: Current Pharmacist license as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority. Must be in good standing with all applicable state pharmacy boards.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Experience inspiring colleagues to research and resolve issues effectively. Demonstrated ability to approach challenges with analytical thinking and collaborative solutions.
  • Confidentiality: Experience working with sensitive and confidential information. Must demonstrate exemplary judgment in handling protected health information (PHI) and other confidential data.
  • Flexibility: Able to work non-standard hours, which may include nights, holidays, and/or weekends as required by business needs and patient care requirements.
  • Time Management: Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details while meeting deadlines for various projects with varying completion dates. Must demonstrate strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Independence & Initiative: Experience developing approaches to achieving goals with minimal supervision. Must be self-directed in completing objectives and know when to appropriately escalate issues to leadership.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and evaluating customer satisfaction. Commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences.
  • Travel Capability: Able to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes, including both within state and out-of-state travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Multi-State Licensure: Willingness to obtain additional state pharmacy licenses as needed to support business operations and expand your professional credentials.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Knowledge of insurance plans and reimbursement models. Understanding of pharmacy benefit management (PBM) concepts and payer relationships.
  • Technology Proficiency: Knowledge of computer operating systems including Radio, Commitment, and Plus platforms commonly used in pharmacy operations.
  • Microsoft Excel: Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets).
  • Microsoft PowerPoint: Basic level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: inserting, editing, hiding and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, centering and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing frame view and/or running a slide show).
  • Microsoft Word: Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting and adjusting text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and paragraph width, formatting, inserting shots, images and dates, using find and replace, repair, spell check, track changes, review changes and/or print capabilities).
