Position Overview

As a Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. You will be responsible for processing patient information, handling prescription data entry, responding to high-volume customer requests, and resolving third-party issues in accordance with company policies and procedures.

This is a part-time position offering 8 hours per week with competitive pay of $23 per hour. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:


  • Patient Enrollment and Data Entry: Utilizing arenaflex prescription data entry methods and guidelines, process new patient enrollments by accurately entering data into the appropriate system. Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Investigate to obtain missing prescription information and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions with precision and attention to detail.
  • Patient Communication: Handle correspondence with patients through inbound calls, chats, and emails. Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries, providing accurate information and excellent service. Make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed to gather information, clarify details, or follow up on pending requests.
  • Third-Party Issue Resolution: Resolve third-party rejections by researching, collecting information, making amendments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. Make phone calls to backup plans and other parties to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve third-party rejections efficiently and effectively.
  • Pharmacy Support: Provide assistance to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations. Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless operations and patient satisfaction. Identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate, demonstrating good judgment and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Observe regulatory working methods and perform duties in accordance with organization policies and procedures. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations. Utilize pharmacy systems to obtain patient and medication information accurately and efficiently.
  • License and Certification: Must obtain active technician license or certification within the first 90 days of employment and maintain an active technician license or certification throughout employment.
