- *Responsibilities**
As a Licensed Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Answering phones and greeting walk-in clients with a polite and professional manner
- Assisting current customers with service-related tasks, including but not limited to processing payments, making changes to existing policies, troubleshooting billing questions, and assisting with the claims process
- Assisting the sales team to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience
- Having an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Asking each customer for referrals and recommendations
- Treating each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity, including financial products (commissions available for any sales completed by the CSR!)
- Maintaining client relationships with follow-up phone calls
- Scheduling appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers
- Managing and maintaining a positive office environment and performing any other office-related tasks
- *Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid Property & Casualty Insurance License
- A minimum of 1 year of P&C Industry Experience
- A proven track record of dependability and reliability, showing up to work as scheduled, on time
- A desire to educate others on insurance, including how and why it's important to have the proper coverage
- An upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Great self-starter skills with a sense of urgency
- Ability to create relationships from a cold start and handle customer rejection
- Ability to answer prospective clients' questions efficiently and effectively
- Proficiency in multi-tasking, follow-through, and follow-up
- Excellent Communication/Interpersonal skills
