We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Systems Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and integrating OT systems that meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and security. As a key member of our OT systems development team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, test, and integrate OT systems, including framework programming and equipment arrangements
- Provide field support and lead site visits to assess performance, survey installations, and provide project support
- Test applications to ensure plans meet requirements, business needs, and determine the best solutions
- Manage project lifecycles, including project scope, resources, plan, inception, startup/plan, building, and deployment to oversee projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with site teams, vendors, contractors, and local cross-functional staff to effectively meet project targets concerning system functionality, system performance, and system reliability
- Identify issues that require resolution by specialists or application developers promptly
- Communicate with supervisory teams to provide updates and ensure effective execution of plans
- Gather data from tested solutions to compare with benchmarking data and ensure effectiveness
- Perform field verification to ensure installed solutions meet clients' and group's installation standards
- Manage vendors and contractors for workstation, server, and installed framework program development for complex control systems
- Circulate information to assigned resources officially (e.g., status meetings, etc.) and informally to consistently manage the efficiency of the team, project timelines, and expectations
- Provide field support for the integration of systems as needed
- Work with colleagues to determine project requirements from overall system plans and to obtain suitable solutions (e.g., software, hardware, processes, etc.)
- Attend design review meetings with internal and external colleagues to identify business needs and system requirements
- *Essential Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in OT systems development and integration, with a focus on advanced mechanics, framework improvement, and system reliability
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, Drawl, and MatLab
- Broad experience with Linux-based operating system environments
- Experience in advanced mechanics or material handling system designs/development/applications/integration
- Familiarity with current security methods and guidelines
- Ability to work an adaptable schedule, including weekends, with 80-90% travel requirement
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, etc.)
- 10+ years of experience in OT systems development and integration, with a focus on advanced mechanics, framework improvement, and system reliability
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and DevOps tools
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools
- Certification in OT systems development and integration (e.g., Certified OT Systems Engineer, etc.)
