Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Data Engineering and Cloud Application Development team at arenaflex. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable and secure data processing systems that support our business operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design solutions, and implement technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance data processing systems using Java, Scala, and other relevant technologies
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify business requirements and design technical solutions
• Develop and maintain scalable and secure data processing systems using cloud-based technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Work with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines, data warehouses, and other data infrastructure components
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of software components
• Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement new technologies and innovations
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and contribute to the development of arenaflex's technology strategy

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on data engineering and cloud application development
• Strong understanding of Java, Scala, and other relevant programming languages
• Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, and Apache Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift and Google BigQuery
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance
• Experience with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud-based security and compliance frameworks such as AWS IAM and Azure Active Directory
