We're seeking an experienced Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics to lead our Adversarial Abuse team and drive business outcomes through data-driven insights. As a key member of our Trust and Wellbeing team, you'll be responsible for identifying and mitigating threats to our users, while also driving innovation and growth in our Adversarial Abuse and Analytics teams.   • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Lead the Adversarial Abuse team, responsible for identifying and mitigating threats to our users, including account takeovers, spam, and other forms of malicious behavior.
  • Collaborate with the Business Analytics team to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights, including estimating uncaught badnesses and distributing transparency reports for countries around the world.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent and mitigate adversarial abuse, including working with cross-functional partners to develop new tools and technologies.
  • Manage accelerations with quick turnaround times, providing data and content-driven insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging team members to think creatively and take calculated risks to drive business outcomes.
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, statistics).
  • 4+ years of experience in a related field, including 2+ years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, R, and/or Matlab.
  • Experience working with large datasets and developing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, statistics).
  • 2+ years of experience working with designing teams that form information foundation and ML models.
  • Experience driving groups with the capacity to work non-standard weeks of work as accelerations require.
  • Experience or exhibited interest in adversarial abuse activities.
  • Strong business judgment, critical and scientific skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action with a capacity to work in a quickly changing industry and oversee ambiguity while limiting uncertainty through quantitative insights.
