- *Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to lead our Adversarial Abuse and Analytics team. As a Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of adversarial abuse, including account takeovers, spam, commitment misuse, and more. You'll also lead the Business Analytics team, responsible for producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries around the world.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and eliminating agitators attempting account takeovers, spam, commitment misuse, and other forms of abuse
- Collaborate with the Strategy Development team to create approaches using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior
- Develop and implement effective and efficient operational execution (e.g., quality, service levels) in a global team working 24×7
- Manage accelerations with quick turnaround times required to circle back, provide data-driven insights, and implement solutions while building relationships with key cross-functional partners to launch new products and approaches that effectively prevent adversarial abuse
- Oversee the Business Analytics team in producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries around the world
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Engineering, to develop and implement solutions to prevent adversarial abuse
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including content creators, advertisers, and regulatory bodies
- *Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)
- 4+ years of experience in a related field, including 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Proven track record of success in managing teams and leading projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform business decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with SQL, R, and/or Matlab is a plus
- Postgraduate education in a related field is a plus

- Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)
- 2+ years of experience in investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection
- Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse activities
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to use data to drive strategy and business decisions
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity and uncertainty
