• *Job Description**

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Financial Accounting Analyst to join our Corporate Accounting Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to our Controllership group. This role requires a strong understanding of financial accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Assist in the preparation of general ledger accounts and the month-end close cycle, including the preparation and review of journal entries for intercompany transactions, intercompany allocations, and related party transactions.
• Plan and review reconciliations for key accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis and perform variance analysis.
• Review intercompany accounts, address any out-of-balance issues, and work with intercompany payments.
• Track related party transactions throughout the fiscal year and perform valuation analysis to determine whether related party transactions are at arm's length.
• Collaborate with the Substance Money, Legal, and other groups within Controllership to obtain necessary supporting documentation.
• Work directly with the Supervisor, Financial Accounting - Corporate on special projects and initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of Hulu's financial statements through the planning of financial schedules and references.
• Research complex accounting questions and prepare accounting memoranda to report changes in accounting treatment.
• Help to oversee internal and external audits by working with requests and planning status meetings.

• *Essential Qualifications**

• 3 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft business suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail
• Team-oriented perspective with a positive attitude

• *Preferred Qualifications**

• A combination of public and private sector experience
• Experience in SAP
• Experience in the entertainment or technology industry
• CPA certification

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
