• *What You'll Do**

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Collaborating with source data application teams and product owners to design, implement, and maintain data analysis solutions that provide actionable insights to inform business decisions
• Developing and implementing data migration and data engineering solutions using arenaflex's preferred tools and technologies, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, and other conventional data warehouse tools
• Performing various aspects of the development lifecycle, including planning, cloud architecture (infrastructure, security, and networking), ingestion, preparation, data modeling, testing, CICD pipelines, deployment, and monitoring
• Providing technical leadership and collaborating within a team environment, as well as working independently
• Participating in a DevOps team that owns and supports their product
• Developing and executing batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies
• Driving the improvement of coding standards, best practices, and security and compliance rules
• Tutoring others on technical and domain-specific skills to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration

• *What You'll Need for Success**

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, and data analysis, with a focus on cloud-based technologies and data warehousing
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C#
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization tools, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, and other conventional data warehouse tools
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance principles
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, and software development using agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Experience with data visualization tools, including Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView
• Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts and technologies
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security frameworks
• Certification in data engineering, data science, or a related field
