As a Full Stack Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, resolving complex issues, and driving business growth
  • Processing payments, direct debits, and budget transfers for American Airlines Credit Union
  • Coordinating with vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to ensure seamless transactions
  • Assisting other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing
  • Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with NACHA regulations and federal banking laws
  • Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams
  • Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
  • Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
  • Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
  • Completing daily balancing and department closing
  • Obtaining information from customers for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests
  • Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information
  • Communicating with vendors to process budget transfers
  • Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws
  • Depositing check returns, reviewing member back checks on draft changes, processing member checks, affirming customers for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers
  • Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, overseas collections, and legal fees
  • *Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school degree or GED
  • Intermediate Excel and Word experience
  • Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs
  • Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high volume pressure
  • Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
  • Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and customers
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for attention to detail

  • Previous customer/member service experience
  • Previous banking or Credit Union experience
  • Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
